T-5.VI The Ego’s use of Guilt.

“The ego believes that by punishing itself, it will mitigate the punishment of God. Yet even in this it is arrogant.” (9.6-7)

As I read this paragraph I had a thought. Is the ego a collective mind? This question is significant for me as I understand Christ as the collective mind of higher consciousness (ascension/atonement) that I am seeking to join. All of these troublesome parts that I am ‘working on’ to undo, I see as the ‘separate me’ that, subconsciously, somehow, I am to blame for how they have influenced my life.

What if the ego is a collective mind of humanity that I could not help but tap into as it is in the energy field that surrounds me?

(HS, am I on the right path with this thought? [Yes!])

So, then it would not be my fault if I hold deep beliefs of ‘only me’!? (See Day 85) I did not, individually, create this mess.

[Of course not, holy child of God. You want so much better for yourself and others … all of humanity. You have come to be a system breaker. Old ways got overwhelming and out of hand of human awareness. New, loving, awareness has returned to the planet to smooth out the unloving turmoil. All is well with you, no need to believe anything outside of your purpose of bringing light filled consciousness into the field of humanity. You are needed … and loved beyond your comprehension.]
