ACIM CE Cameo 3 – ‘You must love the children and help them’.

My thoughts this morning are ‘WOW!’ to this CE version of the Course and the Cameo sections about Helen’s conversations with Jesus.

I find I feel uncomfortable learning of her personal struggles in her relationships. I’m also feeling naughty about getting a glimpse into her inner shadows and past life world.

I too have experienced so of these mystic experiences and am not sure I would want them shared.

I am like Helen. This gives me more reason to study the lessons Jesus gave to Helen in these cameos.

I appreciate Robert Perry’s (RP) commentary notes on this cameo wherein he points out that there is so much going on beneath the surface of our relationships. He says,

“that is why we need to be asking for guidance frequently … for that guidance is actually coming from a Source that is directly in touch with that underlying reality.” (RP Day 5 commentary, Course Companions, circleofa.org.)

Another point Jesus makes in this cameo that stood out to me was that he said there are three parties involved in forgiveness: two people and him. Regarding forgiveness in our relationships, he says that he is always ready, the other person has potential, and our role is to make ourselves ready. <3
