ACIM Lesson 288 notes.

Let me forget my brother’s past today.

“Forgive me, then, today. And you will know you have forgiven me if you behold your brother in the light of holiness.”

I found the beginning of the second paragraph made me curious. Why was our author, Jesus, asking us to forgive him? I reflected on this as I was trying to fall asleep. Here is what rose up in me …

‘Forgiveness is the remedy to separation.’

I am being asked to let go of the blocks, the false thoughts that I created, that keep me separated from the Christ consciousness.

I next envisioned my River of Love, with me floating while holding Jesus’ hand. I began bringing my loved ones into the river to join us. (My dearly departed floated above the river.) Most of my family joined in. One refused. One, unaware, traversed the river from bank to bank while slowly moving downstream.

We all are offered to choose to be in Love’s flow. I welcome the chance to flow through life with my brothers and sisters.

“The past is gone.”

There is healing in my family this day and all days forward.

Forgiveness … a clearing between Mom and her father.

Today as my eulogy to Mom, I will share my poem and experience of Willie so that if other family members have a past memory of their relationship, it can be forgiven and forgotten. I am going for family line healing!

Dear Father, please let these individual healings grow into nation healing and world peace. _/\_

“I cannot come to You without my brother.”

Wow! This is big, and yet, expected. Please help me to connect to others.
