T-23-II The War Against Yourself.
10-1-2025
“The memory of God comes to the quiet mind. It cannot come where there is conflict, for a mind at war against itself remembers not eternal gentleness.” [CE T-23.II.1:1-2]
“The meeting of illusions leads to war. Peace, looking on itself, extends itself.” [CE T-23.II.12:2-3]
There are several aspects to my inner war: 1. All of the various tactics my ego uses to keep me from identifying with my eternal self; 2. The judgment factory of my mind that labels my brother and sisters as separate from me so to be feared; 3. That God is scary because what God wants for me is not what I want for myself.
