T-14-X The Reflections of Holiness.

“In this world, you can become a spotless mirror in which the holiness of your Creator shines forth from you to all around you. You can reflect Heaven here. But no reflections of the images of other gods must dim the mirror that would hold God’s reflection in it. “(6.1-3)

“Could you but realize, for a single instant, the power of healing that the reflection of God, shining in you, can bring to all the world, you could not wait to make the mirror of your mind clean to receive the image of the holiness that heals the world.” (7.7-8)

This sounds nice and easy. Just clean up my mirror and I am where I want to be with bringing Heaven to Earth and healing others!

As I was reading this section, thoughts came to my mind about some trouble in one of my communities. Lines from the text would have me think … ‘I can say this to ___!’ To stop my thoughts, I turned to my tool of ‘I don’t know’.

I cannot know because I cannot see everyone and everything that is related to the situation. Then I had the thought that even if I was able to think up a solution, which I believed to be good, this would be a tarnish on my mirror.

My ideas block the reflection of God on the mirror of my mind. This thought quieted the others which helped to clear my mirror a bit more.
